My Client, a world renowned luxury Hotel based in the West End requires an experienced Part Qualified Management Accountant to assist in the effective running of the finance department.
For this role you must be experienced in using Sun Accounts, and preferably have experience in the Hotel / Leisure industry.
This is a chance to work in an exciting part of London in a busy period.
The Management Accountants duties:
• Driving the month end profit and loss process and preparation of first draft reviews with the Regional Hotel Controller.
• To review all end of month journals for accuracy and automation and ensure they are posted in a timely manner
• Assisting and ensure that the month end process deadlines are met
• Ensuring all end of month reports are prepared accurately and distributed in a timely manner
• To manage the statutory accounting processes for all related UK entities
• Assisting the Hotel Accountant in ensuring that revenues are being posted to the correct General Ledger accounts
• To assist the Hotel Accountant in ensuring that expenses are being posted to the correct General Ledger accounts
• Take responsibility for overall control of petty cash, cash floats, and change.
• To prepare weekly short and long term cash investments as directed.
• Ensuring payment of all intercompany, charge-backs, fees, and billbacks, are up to date
• To manage the Internal Audit
The Management Accountant will:
• Be experienced in a similar role
• Have strong knowledge of Sun Accounts
• Ideally have high degree of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Have strong communication skills
