NVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier (Cleaning) Purpose of Role:Assess candidates’ performances and/or deliver related underpinning knowledge and support in a range of tasks and to ensure that the competence and/or knowledge meet the requirements of the standards. Support and work with a team of Assessors to develop assessment procedures and facilitate good practice. Roles and responsibilities: - Meet Key Performance Indicators as agreed with Quality Manager
- Carry out Induction and Initial Assessment with candidates and establishthe correct level and programme of study to be undertaken
- Advise the candidate on the types and range of evidence that would be acceptable
- Undertake delivery of underpinning knowledge and understanding
- Undertake workplace assessments in various locations with candidates, including obtaining witness testimonies, written and oral testing of underpinning knowledge
- Undertake observations of the candidate to prove competence against performance criteria
- Assist the candidate with the preparation of their portfolio of evidence
Ensure maintenance of confidentiality of sensitive information - Promote and ensure safe working practices in line with current health and safety legislation
- Promote equality and diversity at every opportunity
- Work as part of a team
