Position: Apprentice Paralegal
Location: Chesterfield, S40 1JS
Job Type: Full Time, 18-24 months fixed term Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

About the role:
They are looking for an Apprentice Paralegal to join a small friendly team to train as a legal clerk dealing with all aspects of Law with progression routes in to Paralegal.
Reporting to the office manager as an apprentice on a daily basis your responsibility and duties include client interaction, commercial property law and conveyancing to employment law. You will also provide in house administration support, confidently communicate with all members of staff, and dealing with legal documents.
They are looking to progress the candidate right through to a paralegal status. There may even be the opportunity to progress on to a qualified solicitor dependant on the ability of the candidate.
- 5 GCSEs at A* to C including Maths and English
- Pleasant Telephone Manner

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
