One Resourcing are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client a luxury sea food bar based at Gatwick Airport in the role of Breakfast Chef.
Pay Rate for this role is £7.50 + Gratuities
This is a full time role and you will be required to work shifts that start as early as 430am 5 days per week. This will include working some, but not all weekends and some, but not all bank holidays. Please note that shift times may be altered depending on the business requirements. You will be issued with a monthly rota.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Prepare breakfast items (caviar, seafood) as they are ordered by customers, to the company specific guidelines on presentation and portion control.
Offer personalised suggestions to guests when receiving their order, upselling and explanation of guest meal once served.
To maintain at all times a professional level of customer service, through a friendly level of communications (recommendations & upselling). To offer at all times Caviar & Balik and a high level of personal attention to each guest.
Ensure through daily deliveries that the quality of all products offered for sale is of perfect quality. Monitor storage of goods to maintain a stock rotation and stock date control.
Ensure via liaison with the Manager that display fridges focus on clean /clear stock layouts reflect current stock levels and trends in an attractive style.
Ensure that the food preparation area is frequently cleaned.
Maintain both company and food regulations at all times. Report immediately any customer comment to the manager and ensure that you are familiar with any company food procedures.
Maintain and record temperature controls and immediately contact the manager who will contact maintenance companies to rectify any faulty machinery.
Maintain a harmonious relationship within colleagues.
Follow company guidelines on policies and procedures.
As this role is based in a security restricted zone of Gatwick Airport the succesful candidate would need to undergo a five year reference check and a criminal record check.
