Our client has approximately 280 staff, performing a range of process and analytical development, production, quality control and quality assurance roles associated with the development and manufacture of biopharmaceuticals. The department carries out the manufacture of vaccines, as well as contract manufacturing

Your new role
To maintain and support expansion of materials control system specifically by leading on the authoring and maintaining of all the monographs which are the key control documents.

This role requires cooperation and support from QC, QA, production and logistics. Therefore managing these modest collaborations including leading small teams for short periods, and chairing meetings is a requirement. The job holder will be the front line for supplier change notifications (CN); these result in a range of actions ranging from simple logging and recording of notification through to raising Non conformances and Change Controls which can have significant impact on the supply chain. The job holder will attend and support the Supplier Management and Materials Control Group Meeting by acting as secretary and also to monitor and chase all actions issued.

The job holder will also act as a focal point for all supplier complaints. They will create and keep a log of these and in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager, contact suppliers to resolve the issues. We are looking for An applicant who is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - in addition to good customer focus with a drive and determination to succeed in maintaining current exceptional service levels.

What you'll need to succeed
The post holder will have appropriate skills and experience working within quality systems, supported by good administration and documentation writing and control knowledge.
