Information Officer

Our client is looking to recruit an Information Officer to support their Information Services Manager.

Duties will include;-
* checking daily email updates and journals and emailing relevant articles to staff
* scanning contents pages of journals to staff
* managing circulation lists
* checking in journals to the Library Management System
* Maintaining physical library space
* Assist with administration related to joiner/leaver processes
* development, maintenance and editing of the intranet
* attending practice group and other meetings to understand areas where Information Services can add value
* assisting with research and enquiries
* updating induction material
* assisting with the delivery of induction training
* maintaining user guides/training materials

Candidate Specification;-
* Ideally from an Information Service background
* Excellent IT skills
* Comfortable using mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc)
* Client focused with an ability to organise and manage work efficiently
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive and enthusiastic demeanour
