Our client is seeking an Administrator / PA to the Director of Science within their world-renowned research centre.

Their mission is to promote and achieve the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats. This is realised by carrying out field conservation and research in over 50 countries around the world and through education and engagement at our two zoo, inspiring people to take conservation action.

Job Overview/Purpose:

This is a key role with responsibilities to provide PA Support, administrative support and reception duties. The role also encompasses being a member of their Administration team which includes duties to data input, procurement of services, purchasing, financial support to Science Operations Manager and support to research staff, students, interns and registered visitors with queries.

Reporting directly to the Science Operations Manager, this key position requires a highly reliable, resilient and proactive individual who has the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure and build strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders. This is a fantastic position for an individual looking for employment in an international organisation. You will have exposure to a variety of departments. Person Specification:

·Proven PA experience ideally working with CEO / Directors / Senior Management.

·Proven experience of working in administration or a visitor care role.

·Strong shorthand and excellent typing skills.

·Excellent organisational skills including diary management, arranging meetings, responding to e-mail correspondence, data input, answering calls and minute taking as and when required.

·Previous experience assisting with invoices, expenses, VAT, receipt.

·Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

·Intermediate IT skills, with a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).

·Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Please note: Please note this is a full-time, permanent position based in Regents Park. Office hours are generally 9am – 5:30pm (Monday – Friday).
