The opportunity

Project: We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Electrical Construction Manager to join our established and growing team in London within our Private Sector to work on 100 Fetter Lane.

The 95,000 sq ft development, designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, will target the highest environmental standards of BREEAM Outstanding, as well as WiredScore, SmartScore and WELL certifications.

Sustainability, technology and wellbeing are extensively incorporated into the design including generous planted terraces, facilities to encourage active modes of travel and high-performance 100% electric building services to ensure the building achieves carbon neutrality in use.

Edenica is the first scheme within the City of London to be designed as a ‘storage bank’ where materials are held for future reuse, through the use of ‘Materials Passports’. Materials Passports are digital data sets that describe characteristics of materials and components in products and systems, giving them value for present use, recovery and future reuse.

Delivery for the new scheme is targeted for Q4 2024.

Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates. Even if you feel you do not fulfil all of the criteria below, please apply as you may still be the best candidate for this role or another role within our organization. We are also open to discussing part time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.

Our people are the heart of our business. While we share ambitions as a collective, we also have ambitions as individuals. The same is true for all the other people that our work touches. We empower and encourage each other, our clients and everyone we work with to embrace challenge and look beyond the boundaries of today.

Since day one, we have relentlessly pursued a better way. Our purpose – to redefine the boundaries of ambition – is the reason we do it. It’s why we exist. It’s what drives us forward. It’s how we create an enduring legacy in this world.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Delivering the project to safety, quality, programme and cost as agreed within the work package execution plan.

· Ensuring the overall works are delivered in accordance with developed and defined integrated processes, procedures, strategies and tools as listed in the employers.

· Acting as principal contractors representative.

· Liaising with key stakeholders and attend liaison meetings.

· Directing and managing all site-based activities via the construction manager.

· Ensuring project delivery takes place in accordance with the project milestones as outlined within the programme.
